Douglas Palma, DVM, DACVIM (SAIM), is a veterinary internist at The Animal Medical Center in New York City, New York, where he also completed a residency in internal medicine. He has spoken at various meetings throughout the country and has coauthored multiple publications. In addition, he trains interns and residents in internal medicine and is residency director for ACVIM. Dr. Palma has a special interest in respiratory medicine. He earned his DVM from The Ohio State University.
