Bethany Colaprete, MEd, EdS, LMHC, Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine
Bethany Colaprete, MEd, EdS, LMHC, is a licensed mental health counselor, school psychologist, and certified eating psychology coach at Washington State University (WSU) College of Veterinary Medicine, where she helps students move organizationally toward improving wellness. Bethany has additional training in the areas of mindfulness and focusing, and she is an enthusiastic learner of neuroscience in mental health. She takes strengths-based and holistic approaches to her counseling and other wellness initiatives. Bethany’s previous professional experience includes school counseling, community counseling, and in-patient mental health. She collaborates with WSU employees and other US universities to address veterinary professionals’ mental health concerns.
FUN FACT: Bethany spent 6 seasons working on a helitack crew fighting fires. For one fall project, she helped tag and take vitals for the wolf population. Needless to say, she is adventurous!
