We have arrived in Blantyre, Malawi! We survived 4 flights, obtained our tourist visas, located our luggage, and located each other in the humid Malawi weather.

Thankfully, those who sweat together, stay together.

The drive from the airport to Fisherman's Rest resort took about an hour. The first to-do on our list? Showers! No amount of deodorant can help us at this point, but thankfully, those who sweat together, stay together.

Orientation starts tonight, hopefully followed by a solid night’s sleep. In the morning, we start the vaccination clinic. The rest of the team is just as excited about this journey as we are!

Here’s to many amazing Malawi adventures to come!—Jessie Foley
