About This Course

In this webinar, Dr. Kris Kruse-Elliott will review the pharmacology and clinical use of alpha-2 agonists and antagonists in dogs. She will discuss the clinical use of Zenalpha® (medetomidine and vatinoxan hydrochlorides injection) in canine sedation, including its advantages, limitations, and unique clinical applications as an alternative option for canine sedation and how it differs from medetomidine or dexmedetomidine alone. Dr. Kruse-Elliott will also share practical guidance for selecting sedation protocols and establishing parameters for safe sedation regardless of drug choice.
