A grade 3-4/6, moderately harsh crescendo-decrescendo (ejection) murmur is heard throughout systole (over the left heart base over the pulmonic valve) in this heart sound.

Moderate pulmonic stenosis is present in this dog, and as the pressure gradient between the right ventricle and pulmonary artery increases, the murmur intensity becomes louder and peaks later in systole.
