Heidi Goethert, ScD, is a research associate at Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University and a disease ecologist specializing in tick-borne diseases. She has published articles on tularemia, human granulocytic anaplasmosis, babesiosis, deer tick virus, and Lyme disease and was on the team that identified B miyamotoi, one of the newest bacterial agents found to infect humans.
