Terry Marie Curtis, DVM, MS, DACVB, is head of the clinical behavior service at University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine, where she handles house calls in Florida and southern Georgia and teaches behavior courses. She is a regular contributor to the NAVC Conference and author of numerous articles and chapters in companion animal behavior. Dr. Curtis worked with the Hemingway House cats in Key West and discussed the subject on ABC Nightline. She also appeared on the NBC Today Show to talk about canine fears and phobias. Dr. Curtis received her DVM from University of Florida, completed a residency in veterinary behavior at University of Georgia, and earned an MS in psychology.
