Jörg M. Steiner, MedVet, DrMedVet, PhD, DACVIM & DECVIM (Companion Animal), AGAF, is professor of small animal internal medicine and director of the gastrointestinal laboratory at Texas A&M University. Dr. Steiner frequently lectures on small animal gastroenterology and is involved in a number of research projects. He graduated from veterinary school in Munich, Germany. After completing an internship at University of Pennsylvania and residency at Purdue University, he achieved board certification with the American and European Colleges of Veterinary Internal Medicine. In 2000, Dr. Steiner received his PhD from Texas A&M.
