Merck Animal Health has announced a partnership with The Street Dog Coalition to provide medications, vaccines and treatment for pets of those experiencing homelessness. The Street Dog Coalition is a non-profit organization that offers free basic veterinary care to pets of homeless individuals.

Antech Releases New Ringworm Panel
Antech Diagnostics, part of Mars Veterinary Health, announced the availability of its DNA-based test for the most common fungal organisms causing ringworm in dogs, cats, horses, rabbits and small rodents. Antech also offers confirmatory culture using the same sample. Available immediately, the ringworm PCR test offers high sensitivity and specificity as well as rapid turnaround.
