Socati & Super Snouts partner to create water-soluble CBD product for pets
Socati Corp., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Yooma Wellness Inc., and leading US pet cannabinoid brand Super Snouts have partnered to launch newly formulated water-soluble CBD tinctures for pets. The new product line is the first of its kind, offered in 90, 150, 300, and 600mg CBD dose sizes using USDA certified organic, broad-spectrum hemp.

JVIM study affirms value of Antech Diagnostics' Canine CE-IBD assay
A new study published in the Journal of Veterinary Internal Medicine (JVIM) assesses Antech Diagnostics' Canine CE-IBD assay, the first non-invasive blood test for canine chronic enteropathy/inflammatory bowel disease. The study shows that the assay distinguishes CE dogs from non-CE dogs accurately and allows veterinary teams to evaluate a dog’s response to treatment.
Companion Animal Parasite Council Releases 2021 Pet Parasite Forecast
The Companion Animal Parasite Council (CAPC) released its annual 2021 Parasite Forecast and corresponding 30-day Pet Parasite Forecast maps to alert pet owners and veterinarians of impending outbreaks across the United States. These maps provide a local forecast for every county in the continental United States and are updated on a monthly basis.
Morris Animal Foundation recieves $100,000 from Merck Animal Health
Merck Animal Health has donated $100,000 to Morris Animal Foundation to support animal cancer research. The gift also will be used as a match for Stop Cancer Furever, the Foundation's annual cancer awareness and fundraising campaign supporting research that advances the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancer in companion animals.
Boehringer Ingelheim introduces new treatment option for canine diabetes
PROZINC® (protamine zinc recombinant human insulin) is now available for dogs as well as cats. This new option for once-daily dosing can help make managing canine diabetes easier for most dogs. PROZINC is FDA‑approved to reduce hyperglycemia and hyperglycemia-associated clinical signs in dogs with diabetes mellitus.

New bonus and revenue sharing program for veterinarian
Pathway announces a new program, called the Veterinary Incentive Plan, which will allow doctors to participate in the new bonus structure, which will be based on tenure and company performance. General practice veterinarians can earn up to $225,000, while specialty or emergency doctors can earn up to $450,000.

Antech offers first automated rapid urine culture for cats and dogs
The FIRSTract Urine Culture test offers highly sensitive, specific detection of bacteriuria with results in 24 hours. Based on patented light-scattering technology, the test enables veterinarians to appropriately prescribe antibiotic treatment for UTIs earlier in the diagnostic process.
Donation will provide vaccines and treatment for pets of the homeless
Merck Animal Health has announced a partnership with The Street Dog Coalition to provide medications, vaccines and treatment for pets of those experiencing homelessness. The Street Dog Coalition is a non-profit organization that offers free basic veterinary care to pets of homeless individuals.

The study found that the formulation achieved high-levels of bio-absorption in a rat model, including penetration into the synovial fluid, the seat of joint inflammation. In following, Companion Sciences plans to launch a safety and efficacy clinical trial with dogs suffering from osteoarthritis.
Merck Animal Health Introduces COVID-19 Nobivac Relief Plan

Antech Releases New Ringworm Panel
