About This Course

N-terminal pro–B-type natriuretic peptide (NT-proBNP) is a powerful, evidence-based biomarker that can help clinicians quickly differentiate cardiac from noncardiac causes of respiratory distress and detect occult heart disease before clinical signs appear. Use of NT-proBNP can help provide objective clarity when evaluating patients presented with murmurs, cough, or dyspnea and when interpreting equivocal radiographic findings, supporting confident decision-making in real time. As a follow-up to the previous webinar "The Clinical Utility of Cardiac Biomarkers," Dr. Stacey Hendershott will review the clinical application of NT-proBNP in the context of real-world cases.
