A grade 3-4/6 harsh and high-frequency crescendo-decrescendo (ejection) murmur heard throughout systole (over the left heart base over the pulmonic valve) is present in this heart sound.

As the pressure gradient between the right ventricle and pulmonary artery increases in this dog with severe pulmonic stenosis, the murmur intensity becomes louder and peaks later in systole.
