Cynthia R. Ward, VMD, PhD, DACVIM (SAIM), is a professor at University of Georgia, where she also cofounded and is director of the veterinary diabetes clinic. Dr. Ward earned her VMD and PhD from and completed a small animal internal medicine residency and a reproductive endocrinology fellowship at University of Pennsylvania. She has received numerous teaching awards and was named the Josiah Meigs Distinguished Teaching Professor of Internal Medicine. Dr. Ward has an active research program in clinical and basic endocrinology.
