Heather D.S. Walden, MS, PhD, is an assistant professor of parasitology at University of Florida. Dr. Walden earned her MS in biology from Appalachian State University and her PhD in biomedical sciences from Auburn University. She has received the Zoetis Distinguished Veterinary Teacher Award. Her interests include diagnostic parasitology and introduced, emerging parasite species.
