Andrew Sparkes, BVetMed, PhD, DECVIM, MANZCVS, MRCVS, is the founding editor and co-editor of the Journal of Feline Medicine and Surgery, is veterinary director of the International Society of Feline Medicine, and works as an independent consultant. Dr. Sparkes earned his veterinary degree from Royal Veterinary College in London, England, and completed a residency in feline medicine at University of Bristol, England, where he also earned his PhD. He has published widely in the field of feline medicine.
