Teresa DeFrancesco, DVM, DACVIM (Cardiology), DACVECC, is professor of cardiology and critical care and chief of specialty services at North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Her areas of interest include improving the diagnosis and treatment of heart failure in dogs and cats. Dr. DeFrancesco earned her DVM from Cornell University.
