Jan S. Suchodolski, MedVet, DrVetMed, PhD, AGAF, DACVM (Immunology), is an associate professor in small animal medicine, the associate director for research, and the head of microbiome sciences at the Gastrointestinal Laboratory at Texas A&M University, where he earned his PhD in veterinary microbiology. Dr. Suchodolski is a graduate of University of Vienna in Vienna, Austria. He has authored or coauthored more than 340 peer-reviewed articles on veterinary gastroenterology and microbiome research. His research is focused on developing biomarkers for GI disease and therapeutic approaches for modulation of the intestinal microbiota.
