Brandy A. Burgess, DVM, MSc, PhD, DACVIM (LAIM), DACVPM, is an associate professor of epidemiology and infection control at University of Georgia. Dr. Burgess earned her DVM and a PhD in epidemiology and completed a residency in infection control from Colorado State University. She also earned her MSc and completed an internship and residency in large animal medicine at University of Saskatchewan, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada.
