Alex Gallagher

Alex Gallagher, DVM, MS, DACVIM, is a clinical assistant professor of small animal medicine at University of Florida, where he also earned his DVM. He completed a rotating internship at the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine before spending 2 years in private practice. After an internal medicine internship, Dr. Gallagher completed a residency in small animal internal medicine at the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine and earned a Master’s degree in biomedical and veterinary sciences. His interests include gastroenterology, endocrinology, and image-guided interventions.
