A squeaky or grating sound is present in this recording that appears to have three components with a to-and-fro character: a systolic grating sound and two diastolic rasping sounds.

This patient has constrictive pericarditis. The sound seems very close to the ear and louder than the normal background heart sounds on auscultation; background heart sounds are also present.
